Born December 1918 in Brooklyn, New York. Receives an Oscar nomination for his role in the movie Broken Arrow.

His salt and pepper curly hair and good looks make him very popular with women movie-goers. He plays the sultry-man role perfectly, lots of sex appeal. Jeff Chandler died in 1961 after spinal surgury, he was only forty two.
