Graceland was Elvis Presley's home and Refuge from the world.
It was here that Elvis felt most at peace.
In the early years, Elvis most wanted to be a success.  It's an irony that later on it was his success that made it necessary for him to be isolated.  Graceland  provided Elvis with safety and privacy.
